Information on the case from local sources, may or may not be correct : Trochez was last seen at a business in the 2000 block of south Union Road in Gastonia, North Carolina on February 1, 2003. He told someone there that he might go to Charlotte, North Carolina. He was homeless at the time of his disappearance and living on the streets. His family reported him missing on December 1, ten months after he was last seen.
Trochez has previously lived in Wilmington, North Carolina and Miami, Florida. Few details are available in his case.

A missing person is a person who has disappeared and whose status as alive or dead cannot be confirmed as their location and condition are not known. A person may go missing through a voluntary disappearance, or else due to an accident, crime, death in a location where they cannot be found (such as at sea), or many other reasons.
